Going into college I was so nervous. I did not know what to expect and I was really scared. People told me it would be the best time of my life and I didn't know what to believe. 4 and a half years laters, I can tell you it was. I am so happy to have had the privilege of attending the University of Florida. I have learned more than I can put into words. All I can say is this:

One of my favorite authors is Mitch Albom. He wrote the classic novels Five People You Meet In Heaven and Tuesdays with Morrie. Before I started college, I saw a Mitch Albom quote that changed my perspective upon this crazy life transition.

"College doesn't make you-- you make college."

If I can give any of my readers advice, it's this. Get involved in as many things as possible. Try as many things as possible. Do what you're passionate about and do what makes you happy. And surround yourself with people who want to do the same. That is the best way to meet like-minded individuals, to grow, to learn, and most importantly, to find happiness.
